Extra Classrooms Needed
Since we started in 2009 with the school it has always been well subscribed but as time went on we were forced to close the canteen and make it into a classroom for P4, then we had to close the computer room and place them into the headmasters office and store then make it into a room for P5…..then we moved the Baby class and Top Class (Infants) into the main hall so we could make room for P6.
Now we have no room to expand so we are desperate to build four new classrooms to take the children out of their temporary rooms and into a new building for the Infants, P1 and P2. This needs to happen by the new school year which starts in late January 2017.
It is not easy or economical to build just one or two classrooms so we are now hoping to raise £24,000 for all four and we will only have about £9,000 through our fundraising this year. We are hoping that there are some kind donors who can assist us to keep the school expanding, we can say that we are victims of our own success but as the school can pay its own running costs through a small contribution each term from the slightly better off parents and guardians it is proving to us that the families know that the future for their children is the investment in their education.
